PRAXIS@GAYLAXICON 2008
So, on Sunday October 12th, PRAXIS will have a special event screening at Gaylaxicon 2008, the Gay Science Fiction Convention here in Washington DC. this will be a very exciting event, and we’re hoping that Tom Macy, the star of the film will be able to make it down from NYC that weekend. We’d like to set up an autograph section, and hopefully raise some money for Whitman Walker Clinic in the process. So, the whole thing should be a ton of fun. we’ll also prolly have a merchant table set up, with DVDs and soundtrack CDs available for sale.
PRAXIS will also be distributed on-line for direct download and burn to DVD from NewFilmmakersOnline. They’re such great folks over there, and we’re excited to be working with them on this new form of presenting the film.
As always, there’s a ton of promotion to do with the film for this screening, and as soon as that’s done, we’re headed to Austin TX for the Outer Film Festival on Nov 8th. I’ve never been to Austin before, and I’m looking forward to the trip. it should be a ton of fun.
